NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! there not good when you are shopping for nitros avoid "no name" brands such as that, smartech, and acme racing. if your starting in nitro i would strongly suggest that you go to www.nitroreview.com and pick out which ever car/truck you like. when you find one that you like you should check its user ratings, alot of people have left their feedback for most of todays nitro cars trucks, nitro engines ect.

Smartech's web site used to have a forum - great read - there were about 100 posts saying how c**p the cars were and that you couldn't get the parts, and not one complimentary!

(Seriously, Smartech forgets quality control - the drive shafts lose their ends, the clutches melt and the 2 speed units blow up. Engines can fail after only a few tanks too.)

Hehe, you´re absolutely right, shopkeeper.. Smartech have got absolutely no idea abuot the meaning of the word "quality".. It doesn´t even take a few tanks to makje the engine fail. They are also able to do it right out of the box, actually. Two letters descirbe their cars the best, and these are: "TT"....

Terrible Trash....

i own a smartech monster truck and have had few problems with it. i also don't abuse it either. i seems to me to be a twin for the original tmax that had the .15 engine. i've even used a tmax spur gear to replace my original. just my experience
