xray M18

Does anyone else have one of these little bad boys? I've been told that this car kills a Micro RS4 out of the box with no hop ups at all. Good thing I got both cars.

ah the little m18 made by xray.

i myself dont own one but have heard alot about these little cars.

yes josh they will beat a hpi micro rs4 out of the box but the poor old rs4 only runs on 4AA cells rtr [:I] shame on hpi.

only after fitting a few parts and a 1/18th brushless in both cars you can see the difference. xray have a very well thought out chassis and the balance of the car is perfect to start racing with. they are nice and compact too. the motek chassis is a top banana i love it and think it will do very well this year in the 1/18 scale races. and what with a gt40 now possible to buy im sure this will become a popular shell with racers too. we cant realy compare the compare the xray m18 and the hpi mrs4 together as both are different cars underneath the shell. i had the carbon type chassised mrs4, it was ok i liked it as a shelf queen but had to let it go as i couldnt let a little car like that not be used. not sure if damo got it running i will have to give him a shout and see.

will you be goin to snetterton this weekend (12th)?. a few of us guys from uk-micro should be there with our 1/18th scale as there will be a few rc bikes there. i hope to try and get there with my rc18t kitted out with a mamba 8000kv brushless, but having a few diff problems so will only be giving it a quick blast around during the heat breaks to show the guys how fast our minis can go (i dont want to frag out the diff boxes,would love to drag race one of these nitro bikes there too 1/5 V 1/18th now that would be worth a movie clip or two []
