Not really a Traxxas guy, but I can't stop looking at this picture I have in a magazine, of the 'Traxxas Bullet'. Looks awesome I reckon. Does anyone have one of these..? Are the wheels really aluminium, or just chrme plastic..? Would love to know more about these if anyone has any info....??

Rod, What do you want to know? I have quite a few of them, both stock and with some hop ups. First, no, the wheels are not really aluminum. They look close, and SEES made a set of alloy wheels that are close. the bottom line is it really is very close to the RC-10 in a lot of ways. Alot of people say it is a carbon copy. One of the big differences is that it has an upper chassis deck. I will try to find some time to take some pics and post them if you like.

Let me know if you have any questions or need any other information, jlschu@sbcglobal.net

BTW, I am looking for NIP Bullet bodies and also a Radicator, either NIB or New Built. Anyone?

Thanks!

Thanks Jay !! Very informative. I figured they must have been at least a bit competitive, because that photo in the magazine...wow, they just look awesome, and ready to race..

What about the "Sledghammer" on the same ad page,...you got one of them too..?? They look like a mean truck....

I had two Sledges NIB, but they have been sold for about a year now (I cannot really seem to get into the Monster Truck thing). All of the early Traxxas cars are hard to find and there really is not a big following for them, so if you can find them, sometimes that can be cheap. If you need parts for any of the early Traxxas cars, I might be able to help.

I alot of people think they are copies of the RC10. as I mentioned. Quite honestly, they are, but aren't all the racers of that period. The RC10 really changed the racing world and set the benchmark. I don't really care, I say, just as in ALMS (which I am a big follower), the more then marrier!!!!!!! I like diversity, keeps things interesting.

If you like the Bullet, you should do some research on the TRX-1 and TRX-3.... they are great too!

Let me know if you are looking for anything specific.

I will take some pics of one of my bullets this week. I need to update my showroom anyways.

DO any of you guys with the graphite Bullet chassis have a copy of the instruction sheet that you could scan & email to me? I'm not certain whether I have all of the parts for the battery hold-downs or not.

I have a couple Sledgehammers in my showroom (and they are for sale).

I also have a used white Hawk chassis tub. I'll put a pic in my showroom for anyone interested.

I have the straps, but I'm pretty sure I have the wrong screws (they're all different, lol). Please send the instruction sheet to rockrazer@gmail.com when you have time. Thanks!

Sledgehammer was one of the first trucks I owned (white chassis).

Great little truck for the money. A year or so ago I had some spending money and was looking at some NIB ones on ebay for a runner , never picked one up despite nice prices.
