The ultra rare Conrad nitro car? [:P]

Seriously now, motor looks like the .10 Kyosho (OS or later cheapo) ones and chassis tub reminds of older Schumacher designs, maybe something self built from many different cars?

Cheers

Yes! The chassis does look schumacher, but the rear gearbox, and suspention, and knuckles look kyosho. I think the steering servo mounts look hpi, and the engine looks either old kyosho or old hpi. An hpi engine will have hpi somewhere on it though. How about an older megatech? Chassis looks possibly megatech.

Engine is an OS by the looks of it. A .12 if I am not mistaken. This motor was used by Kyosho, but it was branded a Kyosho and had a bespoke Kyosho muffler. That looks like the OS version, suggesting the car either isn't a Kyosho or has has a replacement engine.

Just been advised - the engine is a red herring, it was taken from a TG10, although obviously with a different exhaust.

Hehehe... I thought the combined brains of the Tamiyaclub would find someone to said "It's an X" in a course of minutes!

Problem is it's

1. I.C.

2. Fairly recent.

Show us an old electric and we'll be fighting over who'll be first to name it.

Well Im still saying its a GV.

I've just found an April - May 2000 copy of an Aussie magazine called Dirt and Track. In it there is an article on a GV car with a Subaru shell. The Suspension arms, Shocks etc all look very similar to what you have pictured. The only difference that I can really see is the Chassis, but yours could still be a newer Model.

I know that Over here GV released a version of the V8 supercars, one a Commodore and the other a Falcon. The Falcon had from memory a Blue Chassis. This could have been easily sold in the uK with a different body shell.

As soon as I can work out how to post pics on this forum, I will scan the page and show the article.

Just trying to help out.
