The Nikko Alienator Project

I have a rare Nikko Alienator that I've modified with all new electronic equipment. It's got a Dynamite Tazer 19T, a 20-turn Traxxas Stinger, and a Futaba S3004 and a Futaba radio and the original transmitter.

Has anyone ever even seen one of these or know where I could find another one? Also looking for the Nikko Iron Eagle 4WD twin 540 buggy.

You'd be better off trying to find some sort of NIkko forum, not many people here are fans of that make... good effort trying to modify it but I would recommend you get a real buggy kit, the engineering is much better than NIKKO "toys" and the potential for modifications is much higher..

I suppose ebay would be a good place to look for it. I love reading about custom made cars, actually find it more interesting than just a restoration(something that anyone could do(well more or less) if they have the money..)

On the subject of modifying toy type rc cars,,, HAve you seen the radio shack mattrax? Its absolutely the coolest. Deffinately worthy of an upgrade to hobby type electronics. Got my kid one for Christmas last year. Im just waiting for him to fry it so I can get my grubby hands on it! I say, go forth and modify! Some of those old nikko are very rugged, and with twin motors, can you imagine the crazy speed possible?
