Hi All,

Turned 33 in Nov. I wonder if Mr. Tamiya ever fathomed how his team's creations would continue to turn us on, even in the prime of our lives? Tamiya models are just so addictive, it's like candy for babies! []

30 years, i'm not old i'm nearly new[]

31 on feb 11th, after that i'm counting backwards, can't wait till i hit 19 again, fast car, loads of women, money to blow, could handle my drink, oh and breath (too many years smoking) by my recogning i'll be 43 then, do you think i'll get away with it[]?????

As for re-living our childhoods, i haven't finished mine yet to re-live it[)] Yep totally in denial. LMAO

About 2 years ago I got a call from my folks, they were cleaning up the trunk room and found my old FAV and Grasshopper, they asked if I still wanted to keep them or if they should throw them out, since that time I have caught RC fever, particularly for Tamiya Cars. []

I turn 17 in March..... 27th, March 1986 is my birthday.

Always been a fan of the Tamiya car, Race a 414M and collect the rest.[]

Own all 414 series cars minus the 404X(impossible to pick up) and 414X... If anyone has got one let me know.[8D]

I guess it makes sense that everone on the whole are thirtysomethings. When I started the hobby all the experienced guys who helped me out were about the age I am now: 22.

I must be one of the oldest collectors out there [] 36 going on for 37 on March 28th. Started out with a Sand Scorcher in 1983 (still got it!!!!) and still race Tamiya cars at club level, so there must be something about them.

Got my first Tamiya, a Hornet when i was 14. Had at least 40 tamiyas

until i got 18, and sold the cars i had left to get a drivers licence!

This is my worst mistake ever! There was several Hornets, a Cheetah, Supershot,Lunch box, Wild Willy, Wild One, Frog etc. there are too many to mention here.[] But now that my life is "stable" (house and wife and kids) I started collecting again and this time i am NOT selling the cars!
