Hey everyone, looks like I'm average - turning 30 in october. My first Tamiya was a 2nd hand Avante in 1991 which I no longer have [V] My current ride is a Blitzer. Heaps cool to chat with other rc fanatics, haven't been able to since high school ![:D]

Yo, everyone! I'm 43 this year. I was into R/C helicopters and buggies back in the '80s. Sadly I lost interest cos my guru Andy(who tried to teach me to fly that helicopter) migrated to the US of A, and my racing buddy got tired of getting beat and went into gas cars instead.

I got back into this hobby cos I bought my 3-yr old a cheap Nikko r/c buggy for her christmas present last year. So now I've found Tamiyaclub.com, and it feels good to be home again! Thanks a lot Chris for setting this whole thing up!!!

I am 30 - 21st july 1973. The first car i saw run belonged to my mate. It was a Doberman made by Playtron. Now who remembers that one[?]

27 July 1971. I can't remember if the first car I saw run was a sand rover or a holiday buggy, I should remember considering the guy at the model shop let me drive it to see if I liked it as my parents were buying a sand scorcher for me.

Going bit off topic...which member is female besides The Slayer, which I think is great as she is into RC just as much or more than some of the lads. My age? just say I am older than most of you and wish i had the money back in late 70's and early 80's to acquire the Tamiya now are classics.
