Eeem, since when is XBOX a PC? [:P]

I thought those settings are needed for LANs, for dialup you dont usually need them, can leave them empty [?]

XBOX have gone online now for gaming but you use your existing broadband connection which plugs into the back of the box. Its meant to configure itself automatically but it doesnt! Blueyonder uses a LAN connection.

If you also have a windows pc on this connection you can find out it's settings and then turn off the pc and connect the XBOX.

TO find the pc's settings from the start>run menu type in winipcfg it will tell you your settings. Turn off the pc then put the settings into the XBOX. when doen be sure to turn off or unplug the XBOX or the PC won't connect.

It sounds like the netowrk you are on does not provide DHCP.
