Hi guys im having problems with my interet browser.

When ever i type an address in ie www.ebay.co.uk i always get this

http://www.qksrv.net/click-1291477-7100534

Which is a blank page , so i have to refresh the page and then about 3 times of trying i get into the page.

Now once i try to sell items and click on something like the HMTL help in ebay and again i get this page so i cant view anything.

This also happens on 02.co.uk and loads more sites

is the any spyware maybe on my PC or an i being blocked by someone?

Im not sure what to do .

Maybe a defrag on the HD?

DAMNED STRAIGH SEAN......That program is INVALUABLE.........I had no end of problems after I downloaded that damned Kazzaa shareware stuff - I downloaded ad aware - and it found hundreds of spy files that were tracking my every move.....I highly recommend this version six of ad-aware!!

Dont forget to keep checking for updated reference files.

might be worth clearning out the cookies/temp history then trying eBay again.

Done both claire but still no luck [:(]

Given Computer Defag tomorrow so maybe the HD clean up will find something that helps.

This is a right pain in the ***!

Also check your homepage. Sometimes the spyware will reset your homepage without you knowing.

ALL HAIL Ad-Aware may it's first child be a masculine child.[:D]

Also don't forget kazza lite now without spyware[:D]

Hey there gang, dont forget refupdate, which is the companion with ad-aware. You can get thar from downloads.com as well, and that always keeps youre ad-aware updated to find the latest and greatest spyware and such. I had a bunch of stuff that was not detected until I used the refupdate. Oh and in response to the original post, it almost sounds like a virus of some sort making you have those problems. I had a reoccurring case of the lovebug virus where I would open my home page and it would be something called bigsky.net every time, so I did some searching and found the lovebug fix and got rid of it. It also changed all my Kazaa files to vbs script which made all my mp3 files useless. See ya.

If you haven't done it already, virus scan your entire hard disc(s) - the Gator app that was giving me grief originally showed up as an 'unidentified filetype - possible trojan horse' in my scan (We use Norman AV here)

Just used Norton and it found not one Virus File.

Which is a bummer. , now ive tried everything.........

Im going to Defag the PC then as that seems to be the only opition

Could just be your ISP cracking down on file-sharing, y'know. [:0]

There are moves afoot to make ISPs and network owners liable for what their subscribers do online, including unauthorised sharing of copyright material. In the US you had those students fined $80,000 earlier in the year and down here, they're now trying to force the Unis to divulge uni logs as to what the students do online. [:I]

Also what's your ISP plan you're on... have you hit some bandwidth or download limitation? Check the fineprint... [;)]
