The old Kawasaki GPZ1000RX is 15 next month, got its new MOT yesterday and took her out for a ride. Big heavy slow steering yes but on the M? at 90mph in 6th, wind on the throttle and hang on!!!!! the old girl leaps to 140+ in seconds and those gentle motorway curves need serious lean.

Came home with a really big grin, "Bike it you'll Like it" YES YES YES

Ill stick with my Harley. Its an oldie but a goodie. Nice and loud, and hey, lets face it, even a big oaf like me can look good when it is all clean, polished, and rumbling along. Never got that far over a hundred on anything though- closest I got was about 130 on a friends Honda CB something. It was a big rice burner, but the scary thing was, when I hit that speed, it was almost surreal- it was like I was not going that fast at all till I looked down at the gauge, then I started having premonitions of a deer or something run out in front of me, and that would be that. Organ donors, ha! You ever seen a picture of a guy that ate pavement doing 140 150- big blood smear with some teeth hear and there. Aint many people needing tooth donations I dont think.

I'd love a Harley too but they are way out of my price bracket here in England (ask my wife!)

A late model 1200 Sporty with a sprinkling of Screaming Eagle peformance goodies would be nice!!!!!

I've got a few Tamiyas to trade, I'll pay the shipping LOL.

Cheers Guys, Paul.
