Ok just thought i would be nosey and try to find out what cars people drive (very bored waiting for game demo to download...dialup!!)

i won't be driving for 2 years or so, but this is what i want

does anyone have any spare change they could lend me??!!

Matt why do you want to drive a land rover. Get a Jap 4x4, much better and dont break as often. I drive a 91 Hilux thats been modded a little, have a look at my pic on my members page to see what I mean.

Old Land Rovers are impossibly cool as well as having a lot of charm and a nice 'mechanical' feel. Theres no silly black boxes or traction control it's just a big tough old car that can go anywhere. The only limit is the skill of the driver.

Well maintained they shouldn't break down, they are uncomfortable and they leak but you can tell that just by looking at them.

Jap 4x4's are probably 'better' in the same way that a VW Polo is better than my Old Mini Cooper and a Blitzer Beetle is better than a Sand Scorcher.

Thing is I'd die of boredom in a Polo and it wouldn't make me smile EVERY time I drive it []

hmmmm landy's over the past few years i've had an SIIa,SIII a 90 and 2 x range rovers the BEST bar non was the IIa did a lot of green laneing and trials in her and even did a program for C4 called the big day when my IIa was used for a wedding [] but now i'm gettin past it i've got a Pug[]

I smile every time I drive my baby!! I did mention that I had modded it a little.

Ive had 4x4's for 15 years now and the worst one I ever drove was a Discovery and my series II was never on the road (and I don't mean it was only for off roading, more like it never touched the road as it was always on axle stands)

Hi I have driven Land Rovers since I past my test in 94, I have these 2 at the moment!

We have a total of 5 Land Rovers in the family 2 Range Rovers(Classic and a P38), my 2 and a 110! Landies are the best!![]

Nothing special - currently I have a VW Golf IV TDIid="red"> from 2001 and a Audi A4 Avant 1.8T from 1998.

Before that I owned up from 1990 a lot of different cars: Audi 80 (1981), Opel Vectra (1992), VW Golf III VR6 (1992), Audi A3 TDI (1996), Audi 100 quattro S4 2.3 20V turbo (1992), BMW 318is Coupe (1992), Opel Corsa 1.2 (1995) and VW Golf II GTD (1990).

My fastest car ever was the chip-tuned Audi S4 with more than 300hp [], slowest the 45hp Corsa [].
