Hi all,

Basically i have a few retro computers i want to trade against vintage Tamiyas (anything considered older the better).

Basically the 3 computers are the Sinclair ZX spectrum plus 2, Atari 520stfm and an Amiga 500. I have had all three items from new and they have all been very well looked after and when not in use packed away in there boxes (which are still present), each comp has quiet a large selection of retro games as well as other hardware.

All the above work 100% without gliches.

If a deal is settled the third party would have to be willing to meet up as this stuff would cost a small futune to ship.

Email me for info, pics or just a chat.

Thanks,

Lee.

Thats a real shame Stu as it's really good stuff and i'd like to see it go to a collector.

Maybe you could hire your own "flattop" to come and collect it [;)]

Good Ole days eh?

Do any of you fellas remember the ZX81?..Now thats what i call a computer...lmao..

Speaking of old comps i still got me Oric Atmos, Commodore Vic20 and the good ole 64 (remember those?) best comp to be playing games back then.

With a list ever growing Stu, i reckon bout time you swam back for a bit? [:D]

so,

after taking some advice here, and well I am back 'home' next month I bid on a couple of Amiga 500's thinking I might get lucky and win 1. Well, wouldn't you know it.... I won em both !

So, as they are both PAL, I am wondering if anyone wants to trade 1 for pretty much anything NTSC compatible, or does anyone have a conversion for the Amiga to let me use it here in Canada? or lastly I would just take a Speccy just to have one.

Let me know !

oh oh, it gets worse... I stuck a bid on a C64 as well, won that too.... hmmm what to do now, I will be needing a BIG suitcase to bring any of it back here with me.

So, how do I get it work over here? any ideas? websites maybe?

This thread bought back the memories - I think I still have a boxed ZX Spectrum 48K in my Mum's attic someone with a load of games (Atic Attack, Manic Miner, KnightLore, and probably my fave JetPac).

Amazing how well designed these games were in terms of addictive playability and all on a tiny processor with less that 50K!!!

I always wanted a C64 or aq BBC, but had to make do with the Spectrum and its squidgy keyboard [;)]

Hi Stu,

Try Amibench for advice, seems a good forum.

Cheers
