House Restoration

One of the last remaing items of my parents estate is our old house that we used to rent out. We had it on the market for three months with no takers and once my brother and I were able to get down to look at it we could see why, It looked like badword.

So I got busy with the garden tools and spruced it up.

The bathroom needed som serious help. The layout was terrible.

The paint on the ceiling of the shower was peeling.

The nastiest part was the area around the tub was totally saturated with water and moldy as badword.

so we decided to gut it and start new. Here is my bro nicely telling me to quit taking pictures and get back to work.

We changed the layout. All new plumbing, electrical, drywall and tile flooring. Take a look at the finished result

This weekend is window prep in hopes of painting next week. It's a pretty hot market in that town and we have had three offers so we got to get it finished fast.

Given the paint "peeling" I would not go for Glycero paint and use old fashioned plaster based paints. just my 2 cents.
