Creating line breaks in showroom descriptins

Why  do my paragraphs not show up as separate, but all the text runs togethe?  Is there some special code to delineate when a new paragraph starts and ends?

< br > goes down a line (but leave out the spaces)

If you want a separate paragraph then use <p>  if you want just break in the text use <br>

<P> gives you like 2 lines, it is for starting another paragraph.

You know, I've been wondering about that paragraph thing as well, ever since I joined here about 3 years ago!  Now I'm off to get my showroom entires para'd and laid out just how I always wanted them!
