I don`t think it matters what people bring, just try to be there. We are going to try and organise it a bit better this time with a photo call, specific car types on track at designated times.

What do people think about optional name/handle tags and mabe signing in?It would be nice to put a face to a name and keep a record (for our club)of who turned up.

Does this mean you didn't think the free for all, and no one knowing who they were talking to worked well at the last meet.[:P]

The photo shoot is a good idea. Would be good to post the pics of a meet.

Depending on the amount of people, using the peg board might be useful. We had no idea who was on what frequency last time.

I still have my peg from the Clumber meetings, anyone else kept theirs??

one of the tings i can remember from the last nook meet was that i kept annoying people only having red and brown crystals, but i now got them all and a 40 meg to set to boot this time ;-)

The only thing thats need better organisation is the fact that the pub opens to late

AND the fact that the carpark is taken up with £200 Transit vans  [:@]

I kinda liked the unorganised free for all of the last meet, as for name/handle tags, can mine say "Insert beer here"

Ha ha,the Transit just got another 12 months MOT :P

So just a photo call then. Will try to organise a race for the buggys and another for the wheelie trucks ,just for fun and photo purposes.Forget the rest of it and focus on fun.

Marderbeast should be there with the "Electro Marder".

no matter which way the meet is organised i'm sure it will go down a storm, as the last one did, all my cars are nearly ready for the meet,  knowing me i'll break one the day before he meet and be running round trying to fixit as usual.

Not really sure my missus would be up for running around a track, but i can allways ask her [:D]

I think Steve was meaning using a car, not going for a jog[:P]

been prep'in my 7up lunch box for the wheelie truck race, added ball races and alloy oil dampers, just don't know how silly to go with the motor? i mean, its not slow in standard form and will more power just mean no steering?? might keep it a bit tame, 27 stock or something[sn]

Why a seperate ladies race??? my other half would be upset having to wait for that, she will be joining us in the races for Twin Det and wild willy's etc. :)

You didn't see the my missus with the wayward Pumkin last time did you [:$]

I'll be going nowhere near the track when she's driving [:P

Ah LOL, would be no problem with my other half, she races now, and not doing bad at all so we should all be relatively safe.. thing that amused me is that last year at Kidderminster she managed whole of the Twin Det/WIld dagger race with steering reversed, I only found out when I asked her to turn right, and she asked "my right or your right?"  I was totally dumbfounded by that question till I had a go of her truck.

THats a point maybe that could be a good plan for a race, all reverse the steering, its fun! :)

quote "all reverse the steering, its fun!"

that would be funny.

There was a young lad in tears at a pactice day a few months ago,i could see he was really struggling,i asked for a quick go to see if i could help, only to find he had accidentally knocked the steering reverse switch, poor little mite,he was soon zooming round the track and smiling again.
