Not sure if this is the sort of thing your after but I Have a Venom mini giant Run twice with hex battery, fully ballraced, hot motor, and I have a strech kit on its way.I have also started on an aloy chassis. Its agreat litle 1/20 scale truck and is amazingly fast and will be g reat fun when finished all it realy needs is some oil shocks.

Only reason im selling is that i need funds for another project

If this is of any interest get back and ill give you some more info and pics.

Cheers

get an old blackfoot and see what you could do with it!  That'll

eat up your spare cash any day!  I know that I've spent WAY too

much money getting mine back up to running condition. Or you could get

some aluminum parts for your Twin Detonator!  ;-)

Thanks for your advice jimbo, I dont know why but the twin det just does'nt do it for me? I think it might be the twin motor issue, gonna cost a lot to sort those plus its aggro fitting an esc with the four motor wires. I did try obtaining some cva's for it on the forum but had no offers of any. you any spare ones knocking about?

No... No extra CVA's... Looking at the Twin Det pictures in your

showroom that thing looks killer!  I'm actually trying to find one

or maybe even a Wild Dagger. I've already got this on order

http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_info...roducts_id=8324

I'm hoping to find a decently priced WD or TD, then find some place to

get a custom chassis to hold two battery packs. I'd like to run the

motors in parallel and the batteries in parallel.  similar to

what's described in the article listed below...

http://rcdaggerweb.com/clyde/wiki/index.php?page_id=29

I'm hoping to have a fun fast WD or TD AND still have decent run times.

I just got an email from someone that says he can make me a custom

aluminum chassis WITH shock towers to accomodate a 4" shocks and

alittle more suspension travel.

On a side note... I'd also like to do something similar to a TL01B

ripoff that I've got. And go with ONE brushless motor and just ONE

battery with it.  But, I've got too many projects still in the

works. Heck I've STILL gotta finish the Blackfoot that I've got!

Oh as for the shocks.  Are they 70mm shocks?  I was looking around and found these...

GPM 75mm Shocks

Maybe those will work? I'm thinking about getting a set for my TL01B ripoff cause it uses 70mm shocks as well...

Hey thanks jimbo ur a star. might be purchasing a coupla sets of those. did ye see the VLB i bought of mad zero? looks really clean cant wait to get it. you seriously need some showroom pics dude!

hhmmm... What's a "VLB"? sorry, still catching up on all the lingo here.

As for me since I've been concentrating on fixing up my old Blackfoot.

I've just got a bunch of spare Blackfoot stuff.  Now that I've got

the Thorp gearbox with the Thorp Slider arms.... I do have a spare

Thorp gearbox setup for Thorp dogbones if you're interested.

Other than that, I've gotta piece together a couple of Blackfoots,

maybe my Lunchbox, a few Airtronics controllers/receivers/servos, etc.

As for the showroom pics... I'll post some pics AND pay for the TC dues

once I actually get the Blackfoot or the Super Blackfoot/Beetle

done.  Right now they're kind of pathetic looking with the old

banged up bodies...
