I wouldn't drive, for main reason it'll be cheaper & faster to fly up than pay for 6000kms worth of unleaded. []

Too much sun down here too, take some back!!! Popped off to the track on boxing day and its 38degC in the shade, 59degC on the tarmac and just one lap enough to heat the tyres to 65degC.
