Well, Where to start...

A NIB Tamiya Sand Scorcher Shell

This will set you back a good £250, so i don't know why i included it..

Blitzer Beetle

You can buy a blitzer beetle shell, and then use a MB ( Monster Beetle ) nose cone, as the blitzer nose cone sticks out..

KAMTEC Repro

Kamtec make a reproduction Scorcher bodyshell in ABS and Lexan..

Some of the above ideas may need the body holes re-drilling, i can sympathise with you as i would not liek to pay the £100+ for a MB Shell and parts, but sometimes i think it's the best way.

Just a slight correction MikeT  The sand scorcher body has the front body mount in a different place than the Monsterbeetle/Blitzer beetle body.  so having to relocate it and drill the side mounts would rule out use of this body

You could piece together a monsterbeetle body over time.  The blitzer shells and other body parts are easy to come by.  It's the Monster Beetle nose cone that will be hard to find.

The cheapest alternative is a lexan body that would fit a traxxas stampede as the wheelbase is similar.

a stampede's wheel base is still a little long for a MB chassis. it will work but it looks wierd i think. parma still makes a blackfoot body in lexan and it's available from tower hobbies.........

it doesn't say blackfoot in the description but the decals it comes with do. also you will need to get blackfoot body mounts which should be easy enough to source some used ones. i've used this body on many blackfoot, super blackfoot, and bush devil trucks and it looks fantastic! it also has the body mount holes pre marked, but you do have to drill 'em. it includes window masking and overspary film as well....

p.s.  view the super blackfoot in my showroom for a finished picture.[;)]

this is the body I ordered from my LHS. I was going to order one from Kamtec, via ebay. but, they never answered my emails.  So, I just went to my LHS. Showed them the Parma PSE body I wanted and they ordered it for me!
