New release rumours at Nuremburg 06?

Ok this isnt a 'I wish this was going to be re released' post as we have all been through that[]

This is a 'just out of interest' question.

Has anyone actually heard any rumours as to what Tamiya mught release at the 06 toy fair? Assuming they are going to be there of course. Whether there are new models, innovations, re releases (god help us on that one!)etc etc.

These can be whispers or 2nd 3rd or 4th hand information from suppliers, LHS owners etc etc.

Its friday and I need something to kill time[]

Personally I have heard that a few more Truck (big rigs) variants are in the pipeline, I cant back that up nor having said that I do I really trust the guy who came out with it but I thought I would test the water and see if anyone has heard of anything? []

I haven't heard anything one re-release but somebody said me that Tamiya should made the new Volvo FH12.

Hmmm the FH12 would be an easy one to make up and it offers a fair amount of variation as in add ons, rear axles etc Be interesting to see if it comes out. If it does I may be forced to eat my words about the guy who said the odd new rig may come out![]

My sources say that a new m03 chassis based  kit will be released with the new (and in my opinion- beautiful) suzuki swift body (chassis will have a new extender which will make it "m03m")

Yes, that is very possible as a Swift spare body set is listed at TamiyaUSA site. Hope it will be the rally version with mini Rally blocks! []

Oh my god! I love that new Swift! I may just have to buy one for display purposes [] (maybe take the occasional *spirited* drive of course [])

I hope they don't release the Clio and other S1600 cars in a way, i'd have to buy them all! [:S]

So does this mean that there will be no summer re-releases?....or are there more opportunities for Tamiya to make announcements?

I'd be disappointed if there was nothing doing....I was expecting to at least see one of the Frog based trucks and hopefully one of the Hotshot derived 4WD buggies.[]
