Hi

I have just bought a TLT from ebay (see pic) I got it for a good price and am very happy with it so far.  I have locked the front and rear diffs and would like to lengthen the chassis.  I have bought 86mm dogbones for a HPi Nitro rush.  I had a go making my own steering links, but they wern't very good.  Is it possible to buy ready nade links of a traxxas car that would fit?

What length of arms do I need to suit my dogbones, any help is appreciated.

regards

You are likely going to have to make these parts yourself, it will take

some tweaking as fine tuning the lenghts to suit the driveshafts will

take some grace. The easiest way for me to find out what will work is

to purchase some threaded rod at the hobbystore and some links to fit

them. You can cut the rod with large wire cutters and quickly make up

some links. Make fine adjustments by turning the rod ends in or out as

you need.Once you have a working configuration and have driven with it

and the lenghts are working with the driveshafts then you can make

nicer links like Twinset showed in another thread or you could leave

them as is but they will not look to spiffy or be very robust. It may

take some time but what the heck, it keeps you busy and I think it's

FUN..[8-|]

This will work for your steering links as well.

Hope that is helpful,
