Cool! Welcome to the Club!

I'm currently restoring a MBeetle myself, and it's been a real

challenge.  Never realised how many unique parts there were to

this beast.  (If anyone has the "L" brackets for the fog lamps,

let me know!)  Just had to do one though:  I think the

Monster Beetle kinda defines the "monster madness" that occured in the

mid-eighties.

Are you going to restore yours to a runner, or a shelf queen?

The L shaped light brackets are as rare as rocking horse droppings [;)]. I've been looking for some for a couple of years now, I think I might fashion some out of some threaded rod instead.

Yeah, they're pretty rare, but I did see some on eBay being offered by a seller that was breaking up body kits. Unfortunately I didn't pull the trigger fast enough and I missed 'em[:(]
