Done some searches for Ball diff threads and haven't turned up much regarding KB's. I find on my KB, the inside rear unloads pretty easily, spinning away the power when you would want a nice slide out of a slow tight bend.

Question - Has anyone locked up a KB diff? Was the effect generally positive or do you regret it as it ruined the handling.

Alternatively, anyone know of any Ball diffs that fit the KB as this would be my ideal solution?

Cheers,

I just use a lot of AW grease in the gear diff and it seems to

help.  Also tried locking it up with hot glue- but this was a bit

drastic IMO- just caused excessive wear in the drive shafts[:(

I agree a ball diff would be trick - but I've yet to figure out what would be a fit.  ( I have my doubts)

locked mine with screws and glue, snapped a drive shaft once , but it kept on working

with a 20 turn motor it will pull wheelies on grass and is great on sand and in snow

i say do it and enjoy the traction, SRB's had locked rear ends as do most crawlers
