It seems like especially at non sanctioned races, Li-Po cells are becoming the cells to have.

There are also events over here where the mains are 8 minute for stock and 6 for mod, I have even heard there is a track running 20 minute electric mains ( finals)  WOW!!!

Also, we were told by Orion that there is no need to ever re-peak the cells, so in theory you have a couple of packs charge them at home and you don't need to take our charger to the track!

So, with this in mind, I thought it would be a good idea to post any experiences anyone has with them, which are best?  What chargers work with them, how safe are they to charge and handle? That sort of thing.

  thanks

You can buy simple Lipo chargers for almost nothing but the fancy ones will always be the favorites with the hardcore racers. I love my mrc 969 pro and I will be upgrading it to a 977. Others will cry and say a 969 can't do lipos but I've done them on my charger with no worries without the upgrade. It's not too expensive and it's dual voltage and runs at 50/60 hrtz. That's just good for people like me who race in different countries.
