I am looking for shops in Tokyo that stock Tamiya RC Cars.  Akihabara wise I know where the following are:

Champ.

The one on the Showa-Dori.

Astro Bit City (next to the above).

But I`ve heard there is another one in Akihabara but for the life of me I can`t find it.

Please help (and if you know of any other decent shops not in Akihabara), much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

These are some of the shops that I will be visiting in a few weeks.

Futaba Sangyo http://www.f-sangyo.co.jp/about.html

Super Rajicon http://www.super-rc.co.jp/1.html

Champ International http://www.rc-champ.co.jp/Champ_Internatio...ional_index.htm (but you already know about this one).

This site also has a map and directions to a few shops although it is heli related

Cheers Brad.

There is also Rakusei, walking distance from Futaba-Sangyo.  It's on the same street, next to Daily Yamazaki.

I have some pics of the stores in my showroom, I don't live in Tokyo (based in Los Angeles) but I go every now and then. :)  Let us know if you find any good stuff, I brought back 3 suitcases of kits, bodysets and parts last time I went!

you can see the metro station is H15

Super Rajicon is the shop I do all my shopping at in Osaka, they are the best down here, well Champ is down here but it is too far away, costs 580Y round trip to go to champ on the subway...

Super Rajicon in Akiba is a bit tricky to find, it's a bit strange as they didn't really have any signage outside to indicate their shop, except for a small "KO PROPO" sign.  It's on the 2nd floor (where it says 2F on the map Japanscaledriver posted) but they have tons of stuff!

I think Super Rajicon was right next to a Daily Yamazaki as well...pop in for a snack when you're done, heh!

By the way, a note on Futaba-Sangyo; make sure you go to 2F, as the first floor is all airplanes and stuff.  The cars are on the 2nd floor.  I enjoyed FS because they had some rare items that the other stores didn't have.

If you are into diecast and model cars as well, make sure you stop at Mr. Craft in Ebisu, right out of the JR station.  It's a block away from the JR exit. It was 7 or 8 floors of amazing stuff! I just went there in December and I enjoy that store every time I go.
