hi there!

the reason is either because they are not monster beetles, or cos someone has modified the body mounts to accept a different shell.

simple [;)]

all "real" monster beetles will have sideways facing rear body posts, to mount the beetle body. (along with the gold wheels, rear bumper guard, yellow CVA's and a few other extras)

the tamiya BLACKFOOT uses different body posts, that locate into the truck bed of the blackfoots ford F-150 pickup truck body. the same goes for the tamiya mud blaster, which also uses the same chassis.

yellow cvas? are the shocks and the steering hubs yellow also i have some that are black and some that are yelow also where can i get some side posts for the body

the yellow shocks are the original c.v.a.'s equipped on the monster beetle. the black shocks are original for the blackfoot or mud blaster and they DO NOT use oil. as far as the steering hubs go, i'm pretty sure that ALL 3 models had black ones as they came from tamiya. the yellow ones, i think, are stronger aftermarket replacements made by CRP. hope this helps sort things...
