boxes everywhere

Could someone please tell me if there is a problem with the site because im seeing little rows of boxes where writing should be. wierd

I've got boxes everywhere too... cardboard boxes from my compulsive eBay purchases []

The boxes on your screen however sounds like some kind of character set or font issue, you normally see those boxes if you visit a website that uses a character set you don't have on your computer, like chinese or something.

Did you try going to your browsers view menu and then change the font setting to western?

tried the font settigs no joy, its really annoying

try the language settings on your pc rather than the font settings on the site, you may have to get it to recognise aisian / chinese simplified languages

Lol!  All Japanese charcters on my screen!  If it's just

boxes on your screen, I'd assume that you're viewing the page in a

different text than your browser is capable of?

If it makes little sense, that's because I really have no idea what I'm

talking about.. but I do have Japanes character viewing capability on

my browser (FireFox) and the quote above appears accordingly.  HTH[Y]?

Have you tried a browser that's not firefox.  Try good old, flakey old, vulnerable as badword, (but everyone uses it anyway) Internet explorer.
