what is the difference between blac and grey bumpered rough riders?

i have seen black and grey bumpers on the rough rider, which is older?.

mine is the black version.

also mine has rubber pieces on the roll bar which dont seem to be on many others?.

Black is older and more sought after too, do the rubber bits come off or are they stuck on ?

the rubber bits dont move so they must be stuck on.

Hmmm... do they look like they're stuck on top of the standard bumper ends or are they in place of the standar bumper ends ?

the rubber bits are on the roll bar not the bumper, it was 2 questions on 1 post.

just above where the switch is.

Ok, I get ya now, I thought you meant the bumper because I've seen some that do have rubber bits on the ends, don't know anything about rubber bits on the roll bar though.

The big difference between a new gray and new black bumper is about $70 US..[]lol...Anything rubber on the roll bar was put there by someone other than Tamiya...
