Modern O Rings to restore vintage SRB dampers ???

I'd like to restore my Rough Rider dampers and was wondering which modern Tamiya O rings would be suitable (to hold in the oil). Has anyone done this before ???

if you checkout item number 6040780083 he is selling damper bushes but for £1 extra he adds the o rings.

Just go to your LHS and buy a pack of Tamiya red o-rings. They cost $5-8 AU and there is about 12 in the pack. 

If you cant get the Tamiya ones, try HPI or any other manufacturer that uses 3mm shock shafts. Losi and Associated o-rings are 1/8" ID (3.175mm) so these MAY leak if used with the 3mm shafts in the rough rider.

IF they still leak after rebuilding them then do what we used to do as kids, fill them with a light grease like vasoline and turn them upside down.
