Hello, my first post bit of an unusual one thoe.

I am thinking of getting an esc for my twin detonator and i have made a 2nd battery holder fo it so i wanted to get an esc that could take 2 batts and power decent motors, would a super duty novak esc be ok for this or is it a bit ott for a twin detonator ??

Thanks Dan

Are you referring to the

HV-Maxx (single brushless motor 14.4V for E-Maxx)

or

Super Rooster (ESC for twin brushless motors)

They are not interchangeable... ie HV-Maxx ESC won't drive brushed motors, can't run more than 1 brushless motor (it is sensored).

Hi,

For my brother's twin, we upgraded with a Traxxas EVX (about 100$) and two titan 550 motors. It needs 14,4V input. His twin is now a real beast, it's impressive, as the twin is lighter than an E-Maxx !

I wouldnt mind putting a evx in and titans id di have some but the person wired them up wrong and when i tried it it fried the evx and after a while he gave me a refund.

But the esc i was looking at is a Novak XR Super Duty speed controller, would this work with brushed motors ??

Also could any one recomend any other esc's that can have 2 batteris connected and two motors?

Thanks Dan
