XX.XX0 40mhz FM crystals - They legal?

I got a load of Futaba FM crystals here, and they all end in a 0;

 

40.630

40.670

40.690

40.710

40.770

40.810

40.850

 

I noticed usually the frequencies end in .XX5  so are these any good for use in UK?

I'm pretty sure these came from Japan

No they are not legal in Europe as far as I know. The Japanese 40MHz band has frequencies ending in 0.

40meg is land use, is there a law saying that frequencies have to be 40.xx5????

Pass, but from past experiance they will interfear with the UK crystals

either side of it.  Will own up to having used 40.610 in the past

but this is well out of the way of 40.665, the lowest UK freq.
