Another video hosting alternative

It's kinda annoying that every video uploaded is being reviewed before set live (which takes a couple of hours). I think that makes it no real alternative to TC video hosting, but surely flash video compression seems to be the way to go.

Guys, put your videos up there and spread the word of Tamiya outside TC! []

I stuck up one of my vids to see what the service was like. After 6 WEEKS it was still in "review" stage and nothing had seemingly happened.

I deleted it and deleted my account. No thanks...

I use (RC Pic's dot net ) posted my Vid on the 28th Jan and it's still working ok.

Maybe it's just because the service is still in beta stage. 6 weeks does not sound like normal service but some error that happened. It took about 6 hours with mine. I think it's quite forward looking technology. I presume you won't find any other online video format than flash video in 2 years.

The club hosting is gradually getting resolved, I'll hopefully post a thread on that later.

RCPics is a definate no-no as far as hosting any movies relating to TC is concerned. A few of our members used to do it but they got very 'touchy' about it a while back, even when I offered to contribute to their running costs. It ended with them asking us never to allow links to them again.

For what its worth when the TC movie hosting is finally running again, the server we use just for TC movies is bigger and has more bandwidth than RCPics anyway []

I uploaded the bit of a movie I did to my webspace.

I only have 15MB of webspace but others might have more,surely it is a far easier option to upload it there,at least you have "control" over it as it were.
