Kyosho Snakebite MT, Baja Beetle Nitro Models.

Hey all,

Was in a LHS and spotted a few badly faded boxes which contained a NIB Kyosho Snake Bite Nitro Monster Truck and a Kyosho Baja Beetle Nitro MT.  I seem to recall these from a very long time ago.  Is the snakebite modelled after a real monster truck ?  That seemed to be the idea on the box ?  Any thoughts on these two ?  They both had the price slashed to 359 bucks but still seemed kinda pricey !

I[m pretty sure the Snake truck was modeled after a real monster truck.  It's hideous right?  Those might be pricey due to the QRC transmission.  I think those might have a complicated reversing transmission.  I may be wrong or getting models confused.

Yep - Snakebite is hideous !  You are right about the QRC Tranny !  The two kits have been in that Hobby Shop a LONG time because the boxes are nearly completely faded and they aren't in the window anymore !  I did some searching online figure they hit the market around 1997 maybe a bit earlier.  For those not familiar here:
