TXT-1 Price

I built my TXT with the MSC had one battery's worth of driving and went and bought an LRP ESC for £35 from my LHS If you are just using the 540's then I was told pretty much any ESC will do. I'm using the 540's just now but will upgrade later. The big powerful ESC are just so expensive, I can't really justify it right now.

And be prepared for the TXT being pretty damm noisy to run. I thought I hadn't greased it enough but I put loads of lube in the gears, there's just so many moving parts and its pretty heavy so there's quite a bit of sound, it all adds to the fun though.

Just about to start painting the second body. The painted TXT body has a lovely finish to it but I like to do something a bit different.

Also I've bought a Monster Beetle driver to drive my TXT. This is because a) I HATE not having drivers in my cars, it all adds to the scale realism if you have a well painted driver. And because I always wanted a Monster Beetle (still do infact) when I was into RC back in my teens in the 80's. There used to be one sitting in the window of my LHS and I marvelled at how big it was compared to my Hornet.

Well now I've got the biggest truck in the world. Ha Ha

rrood:  Your best bet is Ebay for Juggy tires, I got mine used from a guy in Japan !  You'll enjoy the txt-1 build up.  It is great fun  [].
