Hi there,

Has anyone out there got any info on this, i havent got a clue other that what it says on the box.

Either look in my showroom or use there links to the pictures hosted on photobucket.

G'day,

It's probably from between 1978 and 1980. Tandy (aka Radio Shack) used to sell one at that time that looked very similar to this, but was blue, and it was one of the very first RC toys they ever actually sold.

This one may or may not be the exact same car (just in a different colour). The Tandy one retailed for about $10-$15, and still comes up on eBay sometimes. Despite some Tandy RC cars becoming collectible nowadays, this sort of thing isn't worth much even now because it wasn't full function. It only goes forward, or turns-left-in-reverse....as shown by the single button remote and training wheel underneath.

Edited 27/4/06 to add: Kinda wonder why you bother sometimes.... Someone posts a question about a car that is so obviously cheap and not worth anything. Someone else bothers to reply with real info (as opposed to risking embarrassment to the poster by simply replying "it's rubbish"). And a month later, there's not so much as a 'thanks'.
