Kidderminst 2006 - for sale, trades and wanted - what are you taking?

Seeing as the Kidderminster meet turns into the biggest RC Bring and Buy sale of the year, I thought I'd start this thread so people can start listing things they are thinking of taking to get rid of, or to post requests of things they really want to get their hands on while there.

I've got a bunch on NIB stuff, which I can't be bother to wrap and sell on ebay so I'll be posting details later on in the hope I can make some nice easy transactions like in the old days cash in hand and you walk away with the box. I'm probably going to take my speed gun too, I've timed everything i want to and the kids are refusing to run any more []

Painted bodies have been professionally sprayed by a proper 1:1 car body shop - never got around to doing the detail or building them though.

Looks like I'll be staying away from you then Chris[] or I'll be bankrupt by the end of the weekend!!!

I'll be bringing a few of boxes of spares / parts / sprees from various things for people to have a rummage through, plus a nice Monster Beetle (shell is in brake fluid at the mo) chassis is in nice condition.

Plus a couple of projects for someone else to have a go at, Kyosho RS500 chassis in its box (no body unfortunately), a Fox chassis, a Super Sabre, a Schumacher, an old PB Mustang 4wd with the 2 speed transmission, Porsche 959 (needs work) lots of things that I don't have time / space for.

Oooh, nearly forgot, my nib 1/35 King Tiger tank will be up for grabs too, I'm never gonna get round to building it.Pic here:  http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...96&sid=3836

Also a Jabo 2 helicopter, ready to fly, will demonstrate it for people (only briefly cos I'm rubbish at flying!)

Well, I have also been a bit lazy and not got round to selling half the stuff I should have [:$]. I will be bringing the following (will try and upload some thumbnails to this post if I get time):

• New boxed ABC Hobby Lancia Stratos shell with decals (pics in showroom, note will fit M-02 chassis only).
  
• New boxed Carson Lancia Stratos shell with decal set (unpainted, but same as the one in my showroom).
  
• New Mazda Eunos spare bodyset, fittings & decals.
  
• Original NIP set of 4 segment Blizzard / Heavy Metal tracks (not the newer 2 piece ones).
  
• Various M-04 chassis spares including Mazda Eunos wheels, reinforced Mini wheels, tyres, foams.
  
• A remote lighting circuit or two....
  

Just have to resist spending too much money on other things!!

I'm not sure what I will be trading yet; probably the Hornet re-re (still nearly mint but has been run a few times), RC18T, WW2, a fair few Acoms radio handsets and various other bits and bobs (some MSCs, radio gear etc). I'll also be selling 1 or 2 of my collection to free up some shelf space, but haven't decided which ones yet. I'm hoping to bring some ready made KITT lights (if I get time to make them up, but if not I'll take orders for them), some 27T motors of various makes (all rebuilt and skimmed), got some tyres and wheels, E-Maxx shocks and so on. I've also got a nice Kyosho truck shell NIP which will look good on a Pumpkin chassis.

 

So a mixed bag of stuff, most of which will be dead cheap as I just need to make some room. I'll probably end up coming back with more than I take though; looking at Chris's XR311 is making me feel nostalgic... must resist.......

Well of course I will be taking a shed load of stuff to sell/trade but I still have not decided exactly what yet !

I have got so many unfinished projects that I feel it is time to just let go so there will be many rummage boxes of new and used spares that I have held on to "just in case". I have loads of TA01/02 chassis spares including Top Force bits and hop ups that I would sell as a job lot or split. You might just find that random part in one of my boxes full of greasy old tat !

I will have a few Kamtec shells so if there is anything in particular you need let me know as I will be seeing Keith in the next few days.

Most of what I take including running cars will be up for trade so if it does not say for sale dont be afraid to ask.

I will be taking the Tamiya Bible, as I call it!! Its actually the Tamiya RC Parts support book. Its full of tamiya parts listings and exploded diagrams for loads of cars.

I will also be taking a  couple of MRC parts books too.

Dazmeister - I'd be interested in one of Keith's Mk1 VW Golf shells if he does them to fit an M-01, and maybe enough M-01 bits to build a chassis if you have them?

To the other guys, don't forget you can get the RC switches new from RC Flysoft homepage for a tenner plus delivery. I have two used switches in working order with instructions that I will try and remember to bring. I'll also have one setup on my Spektrum set so you can see how it all works in the flesh so to speak.

I am looking for a runner M-01 chassis as well - not bothered about radio gear or body / wheels as it will be for a Mk1 Golf project, so if you have one languishing in your cupboard, dust it off and bring it along!

Update, just found some more parts on their trees that I'll be bringing including Subaru Brat, Blackfoot, original Grasshopper parts trees, a box of Wild One parts, Thundershot parts and a very scruffy Bigwig Body with the original wheels.

Just decided I need another rolling 3spd chassis. Don't need a body and it doesn't need to be a shelf queen as I'm going to hack it about a bit. If anyone has got one they want to bring along with them to Kidd, then come find me.

I will have an almost ready to run TB-01 set up as a drift car, with yoke drift wheels/tyres.  Possibly a silverstar ultra that is for trade for a esc that can handle the motors Im running.

I've now put my 415 back to standard,so i've now got a reversible lightweight suspension set(used but all there),its ok don't be shy I know you all want my 415 and sus set but only one luckey person can have it,so as soon as you get to kidder rush into my tent and see me[][]

now back to original specs ready for sale.  Funny thing is it is noisier now then when it was hopped up (still has full bearings).  This comes with everything including box, battery, charger, radio gear, ESC, plus an original GH manual (not included in an XB Pro normally).
