TXT-1 Driveshaft Replacement help please.

Hey everybody.  Well I need to replace my driveshafts on the txt-1 as my wheelbase has been extended slightly and the "other brand" ones I had purchased were defective.  I have seen some people use E-Maxx driveshafts.  Can anyone inform me what part numbers I need to order all the parts required ?  Also, will they bolt right on ?  Or even better, if anyone has some I'll pay you for expedited shipping because I'm dying to get the truck out !

If you use MAxx xhafts then you might have to dremmel away part of the center transmission as the yoke on the maxx shaft rubs the transmission where it attaches to the tranny. Some people have also used the driveshafts from a Revo also.

If you are flush with cash then you could always check out the super shafts on www.rc4wd. They are longer and made of alloy and are a direct fit and need no modification.

hey neo.  yep, bought the punisher shafts from rc4wd and they blew apart.  rc4wd is currently experiencing some product defects with those, he advised me replacemnts will be coming in may.  I can't wait that long [].  Thanks for the info, I don't really want to grind anything but I do want to start running !  Just ned some part numbers.................

Hey, I have a new set of modded e-maxx  shafts from Cul-tech for his txt 1 wheel base extension kit. (The universal joint has been turned down to meet the gearbox clearances) They were for my txt project but as I am using an alloy gearbox they are just a bit too big to clear parts of the case.

They are new and unused and I wont be needing them. Make me an offer via email and I will get them out to you if you are keen or I could do a swap for your new punisher shafts (plus cash to make up the diff when you get the replacements) if you wanted.

Thanks chaps !  (nzl60 & Cul-Tech especially).  Problem resolved.  I fitted some traxxas shafts today - took it out for a test run and it all held together []!
