funny you should say that cause actuley it isnt! ;-) I was running stratus 3.0 till the rear wing got ripped of and then changed to the mazda 6!

the thing is when the tyres were hot enough it wasnt too bad but early on ide spin easy or if theh tyres cooled too much it would as well!

Need a lot more information to work it out.

What setup do you have in the drivetrain? Do you have a diff, one way

or spool in the front gearbox? Using the standard setup of the one way

means that when braking for corners all the braking is done with the

rear wheels which means the front end has a lot more grip into the

corners. In fact the Pro 4 standard setup has lots of front end grip

and tends toward oversteer. The one way is great for fast, sweeping

tracks but will make it oversteer on tight courses. Ideally if you are

running a front one way you should never brake if you can. Fitting a

front diff will give you 4 wheel braking and generally make the car a

lot more stable generally, much better on tighter tracks.

If you really want to know what each change does, the best handling

guide by far is here http://home.tiscali.be/be067749/58/

For a quick lookup chart for suspension tuning I have one here

I would start by going to a softer tire compound. Get the whole car stuck well first. Next, are you running alot of suspention soft, or less suspention and very firm? If everything is pretty soft, then try reducing rear ride height, and slightly increasing neg camber in rear. If everything is very firm, then try softening up rear suspention, possibly take out the rear swaybar. Of course going with full time 4wd via a front diff will help keep the rear end in check. Regarding suspention tuning, its very important to decide if the problem is too much(soft) suspention, or too little(firm ) suspention, because tuning to find traction is a bit different for each situation. Its usually best to tune the car with too much traction, resulting in a push first, then try to find front traction to increase steering. Its the hardest thing to try and find rear traction. You may actually have to reduce front traction to balance the car. A front diff will help in that department. Reducing neg camber in front may help too, provided it isnt already excessive. Another way to tame the rear is to use more rear toe in. This is regardless of soft or firm suspention. I like to tune my touring cars slightly soft, for excessive traction all around, then start tuning to increase front traction to make the car more responsive. This makes the car easier to drive, although its less responsive than the firm tuned cars. At the local level, its no big deal, because often he who crashes less wins. I win my share of races locally! If all else fails, go back to a base line set up, try to make the car push, then try and tune for front traction. Really, the single biggest change you can make is tires though. I would try those first. Good luck! Once you get a feel for your perticular car, tuning gets easier. I like the Tamiya TB evo series, because they respond well to my style of running and tuning. Here soon, I will be trying to tune a kyosho kx-one, which is a very firm suspention car, with a slightly flexy chassis....

Tyres are not the case as CS22 are the softest about! I think from what I have found out is that the supension is to hard the oil is way too heavy at 80w and it should be about 40.

So I will try that as well as changing hights etc.
