How do I block specific members of Ebay from Bidding ?

Hello folks.  Can someone tell me how to block a specific member from bidding on an auction.  I looked around and found how to block general bidders ie:  less than -1 feedback, out of country etc.  However nothing to name specific members ?  Reason I ask is I received a nasty email from someone I never even knew existed that was a complete surprise !  Thanks.

Hi,

Watch out for any e-mails SUPPOSEDLY from ebay which say 'Question from ebay member' asking 'Is your item still for sale?' or 'Do you take Paypal ?' etc...

THESE ARE ANOTHER FORM OF SPOOF !!!

Do not click on the 'Respond now' button as it will take you to a FAKE ebay site.

The ebay userid has probably been hijacked or may not even exist - check out from a proper ebay page via search function.

Forward the e-mail to spoof@ebay.co.uk and delete it.

To block an individual bidder, go to your 'My ebay' page and select 'Preferences' under 'My Account'

Then select

'Buyer Requirements'

'Edit'

'Buyer requirements exemptions list'

'Blocked bidder / buyer list'

Hope that helps - I had a bit of trouble myself finding how to do this the other week.

Tamiyabigstuff - thanks.  It was no spoof, I listed an item and in my desacription I had written one battery and then two battery packs run through truck.  Some clown wrote me and called me a LIAR and dufus.  I informed him it was simply a listing error as I had listed several items at once and I then corrected it.  I even posted his "question".  Check it out here if you wish :
