Rental company saw fit to give me one of the only vans that looks like a mobile advert [:^)]. So if you see a silver VW van with "Pursers" emblazoned down the side and an A-Team-esque blue and black stripe, I'll be the poor unfortunate behind the wheel so give me a wave []

I'll keep an eye out for you guys. Expecting to catch some heavy traffic, although hopefully not as bad as some of the holdups that were reported today. Got my tunes to pass the time, so no hurry although it would be nice to have a clear run through to Kidd.

Weather looks like its still holding up OK - to be honest as long as its dry I don't really care [].

Wasn't able to get my hovercraft sorted in the end - didn't get time - maybe next year.

Hey Chris, I'll keep my eyes open for you matey []. I'll fly past you though, got me 3 new tyres and an oil change on the 1:1 so it's running nicely now and I don't have to worry about the tyres blowing on me (thought it was about time I spent some money on that instead of the r/c cars lol).

Hehe - I'll keep an eye out for ya, although I have to say the ole VW transporter is one of the TDi ones and has a surprising amount of "punch" when you boot it []. It does of course have the aerodynamics of a brick so on the motorway I suspect it will struggle, especially with all the **** I have in the back!!!

Really looking forward to it now, just packing the car with tents, beer and Pot Noodles. The weather's a bit drizzly down here in Essex, but fingers crossed it will clear for the weekend. Since I rediscovered Warblade for the PC last night, my car prep plans went a bit awry as I was up until 2:30am playing the game, but I think that the cars are all ready for a weekend of action (well, they should manage a lap or 2 each with a bit of luck and a following wind).

I'm not planning on leaving London until around 4pm so doubt I will get up there until close to 9 or 10pm judging by the traffic buildup showing on the Vauxhall TrafficNet site [].

Just been out and got myself one of those single burner compact stove thingys and a few cartridges from Halfords - 20 quid well spent I hope!!! Its a bit grim weather wise in London as I type this - sheeting it down with rain where I am. I REALLY hope the area around the track has not had so much rain.... fingers crossed.

I am geting concerned at how much "stuff" is piling up in the hallway, all for a few days of RC!!!! Thought the van would be nearly empty, but now not so sure [:$].
