newbie clodbuster question about shock replacement.

hi,

im new to this so a simple answer would be appreciated, my question is what replacement shocks can i fit on my new clodbuster, what size do i need and where can i get em from ?. thanks.

I have Traxxas Big Bore Aluminum shocks and Towerhobbies.com sells them for really cheap. Here is a link. I have mine on for 5 years and they work great. I had to give $100.00 USD back in the day. They are $70.00 for all 8 now.

I'm not 100 % but I believe you should also purchase the ESP Shock lift kit when adding some new dampers, it is pictured on Tamiya King's truck.

I don't think you need the ESP Lift kit, but I had the lift kit before the shocks, so I would not be sure. But hey, it looks cool so get em anyway! []

or you could also use the genuine yellow cva oil filled shocks from tamiya putting one on each corner to improve articulation and suspention travel
