Firstly, does he have an idea what it is worth?

Would you feel cruel giving him 10% of what it possibly could be worth?

Offer him £30 and walk away a VERY happy man ;)

realy

he doesnt think its worth any more then like £15-£20

he doesnt like RC any more anyway so i dont think hes bothered

so how much could i sell it for if i cleaned it up?

or would it rise in price in the future..so it might be worth keeping??

Offer him £30 for it ( a VERY good Price, and will make him happy ) and i bet, if you spent some money on new plastics etc, cleaned it up, you could get £250 for it.

the hotshot 2 seems to be the least favourite out of the hotshots, as the hotshot and supershot always seem to go for 'top dollar!' but 30quid for a hotshot2 is a very nice price, keep in mind that if you plan to restore it the front bumper (c-tree) will cost you a small fortune!! unless tamiya re-release the hotshot they are very hard to come across, the oval block tires are quite plentiful on ebay and by the look of the one's in the picture's your gonna need em. the hotshot 2 is a fantastic car so go for it!! andy.[:D]

I say pay him what he wants for it. Life is full of oppurtunities to find out what things are worth..........Its called internet, and if people don't want to take time to see what it is worth, then that is their fault. I bought a Bruiser chassis, almost like new a few months ago for $175 USD. After I cleaned it up, I could have sold it for over $300 easy! That is that guys fault as he didn't do his research! Should I feel bad.....no. I knew he had internet, because it was listed on there. Sorry, but that is life. Lazy people that don't take the time, can pay the price by getting less money. It's not cheating them, it is benifiting from their lack of caring. And if they are selling it for that price and you don't haggle them down, then they are happy with what they are getting and you are really happy with what you paid for it. (Just my opinion, don't take it personal). Cheers!
