Clumber meet anyone?

As a lotof us have got the bug recently with the spaite of good weather, and the recent kidderminster bash has done it for me, so i have got the bug, any guys up for a decent sized clumber meet? as the last 3-4 have been a complete wash out and some times there has been only two people turn up. not good but i know things come out of the blue we cant help it, so any takers for the next clumber meet and if so when?

I could make the 29th, i have plenty of runners and have never been to a "meet" before!

I wanted to make the last few, but always seem to have too many cars in too many bits!

Hi all, i have a couple of questions regarding Clumber.

Basically, i havent been before and i was wondering how easy it is to find the cafe that all you guys use for meeting up?

Also, from the cafe to the running area, is it possible to drive all the way or is there need to get out and haul gear? as i may be taking a lot of stuff! (first chance to show off and all that!)

Im pretty sure my missus and i can make it on the 29th, i just hope enough people are interested so it all goes ahead.

the cafe i think is pretty easy to find, there are only two entrances to clumber. the area we run is a distance from the entrances's but you can drive right the way through and unto the edge of the BBQ area. i can get directions if you like, tomake thing easier?

which area are you coming from?

Well i checked out AA route planner and it looks pretty simple to get to Clumber, i just didnt want to get there and then not find everyone!!

i'll do my best to make it, bring the ramp an all that! finally got my revo running right after about 8 months of trying and got a few other runners sorted too. might even get the T25 VW shell repaired by then! now wheres that glue gun...................................................

I'll try to get over,can't say for definate as cash is very tight at the moment!!

Modelmaniac that AA link didn't work but basically you'll need to follow the A38 out of Derby towards Kilburn,stay on the A38 till you meet the M1 at J28 (MacArthur Glen) head north on the M1 till J30 come off there and take the A619 towards Worksop follow the A619 till the roundabout with the A60 take the A60 again towards Worksop then you'll need the A57 which takes you round Worksop follow the A57 till CLUMBER PARK roundabout on the A1, go round this and take the A614 towards Ollerton and the cafe is about 1 mile down there on the left, the entrance to Clumber park is directly opposite the cafe!!
