This one's a bit more work than the previous TLT - the gearbox needs some real severe 'modding' to fit

The gearbox is lying down in this one, keeps COG low etc. but to do that, a lot of gearbox material needs removing - should really have taken pictures :D

Really quite chuffed with it (again) housebrick vid soon :D

Andy those TLT setups you're doing are Sweet. Is the next one going to have you're face lasered into the side...lol

PS I don't like the wideners just so you know........

Nice move on the ali Pede U-joints, my Hybrid Beetle used to snap the plastic ones faster than my first marriage lasted!

Can't wait for the Brick pictures.

Cheers fella, but whassup with the wideners?

Only found the steel UJ's by chance - they need a ring cutting off the

axle end in order to fit, but you can finally really crank them down

and not worry about stripping the thread out like the plastic ones

It's just that with the diffs locked the servos seem to have so much

trouble turning the tires and the wideners seem to make this an

increasingly difficult task. However I understand the TLT axles are a

bit narrow. [:(]

I'll bet the axles on the new F350 Hi-Lift are wider and will be better suited for these types of rigs.[:)]
