My Dad used to race a Boomerang back in the '80's. He said that the Boomer had TWO UPRIGHT FRONT SHOCKS.

Did a version of the Boomer come like this, he said this was how he built it from the kit with NO aftermarket options?

Any Ideas?

the boomerang deffinatly came out the box with 3 shox, one at the front and two at the rear. a conversion using either aftermarket parts or super shot uprights could be done to give 2 upright fronts, i have a feeling a genuine tamiya kit was availiable for the job, or am i thinking of the hotshot kit with twin conv for front and back? anyway, it would have had a mono on the front from new if it was an unmodified boomer.

I there a possibility it could have been a BigWig, same general colors (blue and white) and general layout but with factory dual front shocks.

Boomerang kit had always monoshock at front, for dual setup you either had to use the Tamiya HS HP upgrade set, or some aftermarket sets that existed.
