Well I took down my Mini to get it ready to play with. It had a 3300 pack in it so I just plugged it in. The esc is an LRP V7.1 and the motor is a Trinity Chamelion 2 pro. The trim was out of wack and was idleing very high so I decided to adjust it. Well I also reset the esc to try to make it less touchy. It was any movement of the trigger and it was full throttle. Now the servo works but no movement of the motor anymore?????????????? What did I do?

I think it sounds a bit like your ESC has either been drowned, and didnt survive, or it has simply been connected to the battery in reversed order, frying some of the fets inside...

I once had a Schumaher FH1000 which did exactly the same, and it had been used in rainy weather, and apparantly had suffered and short circuit on the printed board..

Normally, (in any case, often), when they are connected the wrong way to the running battery, they will start to have the "auto-drive" you mention, as soon as the battery is connected, but also still with the servo working..

You might have to send it in for repair. The parts can be replaced in most cases, as with it being a high-end speedo, it can easily be worth the price of repair, IF it is only small bits that needs replacing..

Also, you should try connecting it to another reciever, with another set of crystals, before doing anything drastic.. It CAN also be a reciever glitch, and if so, it would be a shame to toss the ESC.  :)

Hope you get it fixed soon..

Cheers.

How could water get into an esc sitting on top of my shelf? Anyways, I put in a new battery and reset the esc again and now it's working but there is no real throttle control. It's all or nothing. I'm about to put it back in my TA04 and get a cheap esc and 27 turn for it.

Do you have the instructions for it? Maybe you've simply have something

adjusted inncorrectly.. Maybe something as simple as the polarity being

swithched.  I'd say start with basic (sounds cliche) and work from

there.  LRP electronics are very well designed, so they are

usually very forgiving.  It is hard for me to imagine that you

have trashed it so easily.  Chin up!
