hehehehehehe - wonder if Tamiya will react to this?

http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/race/race_even...byshow/car.html

Check out the 934 and 935!! I WILL be getting one each of those for sure !!!

Before anyone gets all huff n puff about them being Tamiya's first cars - many manufacturers did them .not just Tamiya...

Love the look of the new tourers for electric as well - a belt drive and a shaft drive.

How cool are those half eight military vehicles !!

things are looking interesting!

Cheers

Tasty. Very, very tasty.

Dare I say it, but is this the most exciting time to be in to R/C since the halcyon days of the 1980's?

I wouldn't know since I had a 16 year break from the hobby but if there has been a better time to be into R/C since 1988 I would like to know when that was!

They're gorgeous.  Anyone know what scale they are?  It looks like to me Length =133mm??

Think it says they are 1/27th scale??

Posted

Hmmm 5.236 inches about 1/30-1-28 scaled I'd guess

Don't know the exact length of orig but that's what my conversion program spits out

Ninco did these in 1/32 slots, man they looked HOT so I'm sur these will to

The Porsches are Mini-Zs, so they are officially 1/28th scale. They should be really well detailed.

Good of Kyosho to provide a choice of drivetrain for their new tourers

without naming them as totally different cars, unlike the HPI Pro4/HB

Cyclone or Tamiyas TA-04/Evo4.

Sweet arent arent they !

JAY :  I am dissapointed at your response - I was hoping you would be "geeked" at the cool CCCHHHHHHAAAZZZZIII ![:P][;)]

Yes - they are on Mini Z chassis - there are several chassis to choose

from now in the Mini Z range - even a 4wd in the line up.

The ones that I lilke alot are those military versions of the inferno "Half 8" they look sensational.

The tourer is very interesting too - looks alot like an "Ova" - but they all look alike these days - love the belt drive myself.

Cheers

Oh snap, crackle and pop! I will have to get one of each.  Hopefully they will just sell the body sets so then I could just change out the bodies on my mini-zs

Very cool! Specially the millitary veicals! I am wondering if we are seeing the first Kyosho re-re-release here? I can svear I was seeing one of this busses on Ebay the other day listed as Vintage? Same driving wheel transmitter system? I agree with Wandy, things havent been this exciting on the new release front for a long time!

The mini-z series by Kyosho are amazingly detailed and an excellent selection of body. There are so many hop-up parts that they can cost much more than the 1/10 scale.

YUM!! [Y]

MR015RM chassis too... looks like an extended 01 with rear shocker std? Existing 01s would need to get the longer I-plate & narrow wheels.

Just in time for xmas!

Shodog, That was my line! : (

Okay I changed it to Snap crackle and pop.  BTW I have tradmarked the use of "Sweet".  Any use of the word Sweet will have to have a royalty paid to me.

Darryn, no, it was the "DECKALS" that grabbed my attention.

Shodog, That was my line! : (

LOLOL - I WISH I had of kept my original reply - as it had that "DECKALS" statement in it........

For the record everyone - I stir Jay about his accent and the way he

says CHAZZI instead of chassis. He stirs me about calling our cars

adhesive backed decoration : "Decals" instead of the american Stickers,

and probably has a laugh at my accent too......inside joke I though I

should share.....[:P]

It is indeed an interesting time in the R/C world. In electric R/C

aircraft there is a significant number of manufacturers making scale

aircraft - and it appears to be filtering through to the car market as

well. I doubt the market will ever be like it was in the 80's and early

to mid 90's - however there appears to be a movement away from kids

sitting in front of boxes. We can only hope.

Cheers
