Help, my TA05 keeps putting a deep groove about 3-4mm from the inside edge of it's tyres. Starts off worse on the rear but then happens on the front as the tyres wear more.

The cars raced on quite a smooth track and the tyres are CS22s 24mm wide. I don't have the problem using treaded 26mm Tamiya tyres which is my wet set-up.

CS22 are very soft! I wouldnt worry too much unless its very bad (pics) all the ones I saw at this we race meet had crackling!

It may be that your camber and toe settings are a bit out causeing them to cook themselves on that part of the tyre!

Thanks, the tyres don't seem to crack, more a deep groove all the way around the tyre almost like the body shell has been rubbing on it, except the groove is on the inside edge not the outside.

I've pretty much kept to stock kit settings except I've added anti-roll bars front and rear which I use with the softer 'red' bars. The handling is spot-on just the excessive tyre wear is a concern.

I had that same problem with my trinity t-spec tires they started to wear on the outside but then they started toget deep cuts on the inside its difficult to fight with just setup alone but if you dont find some way to fix it the tyre could just pop off the wheel and then your in trouble that happened to me and i was not a very happy guy.
