Rear end and front end is certainly Mardave so figure bit in middle must be too.  Schumacher before they became car manufacturers used to make parts for other cars, including a diff for Mardaves, which is probably whats on that.

Yes, its a Mardave chassis, but with a Schumacher differential.

The diff was Schumachers first ever product, Cecil Schumacher was

racing these at the time and thought that they really needed a diff. He

invented the ball diff as a way of fitting a diff in the Mardave and

produced them as a sideline to his full time job working for Cosworth.
