Is this a Mardave?

Looks a bit like a Mardave, its got a diff at the rear rather than the one piece Mardave axle. Any ideas?

It is mostly a Mardave, the diff is probably a Schumaker and the speeedo isn't standard but the rest of it is classic Mardave.

Rear end and front end is certainly Mardave so figure bit in middle must be too.  Schumacher before they became car manufacturers used to make parts for other cars, including a diff for Mardaves, which is probably whats on that.

Yes, its a Mardave chassis, but with a Schumacher differential.

The diff was Schumachers first ever product, Cecil Schumacher was

racing these at the time and thought that they really needed a diff. He

invented the ball diff as a way of fitting a diff in the Mardave and

produced them as a sideline to his full time job working for Cosworth.
