TB01 Gearing

Hey guys I have a TB01 and I have a 17x2 motor and a 15x4 motor I was wanting to know what size pinion and spur to use on them I have the aluminum adjustable motor mount in it

I run about 8.5:1 tho i am running off road. I woulds try around 8:1 or 7.5:1 slightly undergeraing it will make the motors life easy and make it run cooler espically if you use the dust cover as that makes it run very hot. regards Ryck

Im running it offroad I dont have a manuel for it so I dont know what pinion and spur sizes will give me those ratios

Look at the online manuals. of the top of my head its 61tooth spur gear and a 18 to 16 tooth pinion. Mine worked well with a 17 turn pinion and a 58tooth spur gear. best jsut to experiment to find your ideal ratio. regards Ryck
