i have been thinking about it for a while now and i have talked about it with another member and i think it would be a fantastic idea to hold a tamiyaclub meet at either scarborough or bridlington, for the date i thought the sat 24th june. obviously not everyone will be able to make it on that date so im open for offers of other date's, so if your interested let me know what you think. andy.

Sounds like a plan :)

Do you race/ride on the beach (will the tide be out?)

my frequency is 40.975 does this clash with anyone?

What cars are you guys thinking of running?

Am I asking too many questions?

if the beach is quiet then we will probably make a course to race round and a couple of sand ramps! i'll be taking my topforce, supershot and my nitro blaster, all run on 27mhz. its good to ask because if ya dont ask ya never know! andy.

should be able to do the 24th, going to stay in whitby for a long weekend, the wife's gonna take my lad round the sea life centre while we 'play'. might have to limit what i bring due to space in trailer, but my mate (with the red cav who sometimes comes to clumber) might bring the rest up in his car. should be a good day if the weather holds out!

Count me in, i think i can speak for Moosey and maybe Bugsy aswell. The main front at scarborough might get a bit busy if the weather is nice, i think best place is reyton/reeton/reaton(??) gap just a few miles down the coast. Nice wide open space when tide is out. If anyone has any srb's, make sure you bring them. you wont regret it lol. Might haveto fire my FG up for a blast aswell.

i think your the only one from the "yorkshire clan" i havent met yet, i think you maybe right about it being a bit busy. ive never been to reyton/reeton/reaton(??) before, shall we meet up in scarborough first then drive to reeton? it'll be good to see mark and paul again!! (bless em)

youve let the side down now mate ;-) but im sure there will be plenty of pics n vids to look at after :-)

Yeah meeting up on the front should be a good start, should be enough room round the corner going towards the sea life centre, where they have built up the sea barriers. Plenty of parking space usually.

Wish id kept my real dune buggy now, get everyone in the mood for sand, sea, n fat birds in tight pink leggings....:)
